突然のメールにて失礼致します。
先日、イタリアを旅行した際
世界遺産にも指定されている
フィレンツェ市の中心にある
サンタマリアフィオーレ教会の
ドームに登った際のことです。
世界的に重要な遺産である同教会の
頂上の大理石でできた壁面に
ご丁寧にも貴校の名前入りで
貴校の学生と思われる集団
の落書きがありました。

日本人としてあまりに恥ずかしく思い
落書きが社会的にもまだ許される傾向があった
何十年も前の話ならいざしらず、今年の2月という日付入りでした。
これは、世界的な愚行であることは間違いありませんし
学校名を記入しているということから
本人達に罪の意識があるとは感じられず大変残念です。
貴校のホームページを拝見すると
フィレンツェ市とは友好関係にあるようですが
あまりに痛ましく思い、再発を防ぐべく
対策をよろしくお願いいたします。
岐阜県は白川郷という世界遺産を抱える県です。
そんな県の学生が世界遺産に落書きをするという
行為が日本人として残念で仕方がありません。

今後の改善を希望いたします。
